Hello, Carlos -

I will answer this to the list, though the list is designed for the posting
of informative articles, notices, action alerts, and essays of particular
interest, and not for general information.

First, let me point you to the Activism.net Peace page on Non-Violent Civil
Disobedience at <http://www.activism.net/peace/nvcdh/>.  There you will
find a brief history of mass non-violent action and information of the
Alliance to Stop First Strike, an organization I was part of in 1987 that
held several non-violent CD actions in Santa Cruz and the Bay Area.  I
encourage you to visit all the links on that page.

Next, let me suggest that you utilize the internet the search engines, such
as Google, by entering the terms of interest (such as "underground
railroad").  You will find a wealth of information.

Finally, I suggest that you practice personal non-violent civil disobedience
by continuing to educate yourself, seeking alternative sources of
information, and questioning authority.
