[ A public service message plugging MoveOn - another organization you might
want to know about - that does a good job of organizing us, the people. ]

Check out this Flash movie:

A group I'm a part of, MoveOn.org, is distributing this piece as a membership
builder. With more than a million participants world-wide, MoveOn is showing
how the Internet can be used to bring democracy back to politics. In the
last couple years we've focused on Campaign Finance Reform, Environmental
Protection, and more recently, opposing Unilateral, Pre-emptive war on Iraq.

You can easily add your voice to a growing coalition by signing up. You'll
get semi-regular email updates alerting you to ways you can make a difference
(often by signing petitions) and they scrupulously honor the "unsubscribe"
link at the bottom of every email. (I can vouch for this, cause the folk at
MoveOn are friends of mine.)

To subscribe, just go to:

If we can build our numbers - the goal is five million - tied together
through the Internet, we have a much better chance at changing the world.

Peace,
Fen
